Priyanka Chopra heads to Ireland to film secret scenes of hit US show Quantico
Actress Priyanka Chopra is leading the cast of US tv hit Quantico as they film the season three finale in Dublin.
The former Miss World turned tv star (and Meghan Markle BFF) is in town shooting the last episode of the latest season of the FBI drama, with this plot centred on Irish actor Timothy V Murphy.
Details are purposely scarce about Murphy's role, but the cast and crew have been spotted filming around St Patrick's Cathedral and around Dublin city centre.
It was confirmed last month that the cast of the popular programme would be heading to Ireland for the final episodes of season three, showrunner Michael Seitzman confirmed, tweeting: "For all you 'Quantico' fans asking what we're up to...We are off to Ireland for the last couple episodes of an epic Season 3."
A new trailer for the third season of the show was released on Friday, teasing Chopra's character Alex Parrish in retirement in Italy.
It hasn't been all business for the production team as they shared pictures of the gang visiting the Cliffs of Moher in Co Clare this week. Chopra is close friends with Prince Harry's fiancée Meghan Markle and is expected to attend the British royal wedding next month.
In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar Saudi Arabia, she praised her friend, saying: "She’s an icon, truly, that girls can look up to, that women can look up to. She’s normal, she’s sweet, she’s nice, she thinks about the world, wants to change it and this was even before any of this happened.
"So I do think Meghan being a part of the royal family is a big step in the direction of so many things; of women, of feminism, of diversity, of race, of the monarchy versus everyone else."
