British soul-jazz revivalists The New Mastersounds have announced plans to retire from international touring after one final trek through the U.S. on the TTFN (Ta-Ta For Now) farewell tour.

“We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s supported us and joined us on this incredible journey over the years,” the band said. “To say a proper goodbye to you all, we have put together an extensive tour throughout the rest of the year. We begin the farewell tomorrow [April 16, 2025] in St. Louis, Missouri and it will conclude at our home-away-from-home at Denver’s Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom for two nights of NYE shows on December 30th & 31st. Come join us on this farewell tour and we hope to see you in a city near you!”

The New Mastersounds’ final U.S. tour (for now) will start with an April run culminating with the band’s return to New Orleans’ House of Blues during Jazz Fest. Then in July, the band will snake its way throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, making a stop in West Virginia for 4848 Festival before embarking on the West Coast leg of the tour in the fall, with stops in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, and more.

Returning East in November, the tour will wind down with additional stops in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and more, including two shows in Chicago at the Ramova Theatre on November 14th and the newly-opened Garcia’s on November 15th, before coming to a triumphant end with a two-night New Year’s run in Denver, where the band will be joined by vocalist Lamar Williams Jr. (Trouble No More, Oteil & Friends) and horn regulars Mike Olmos on trumpet and Jason Mingledorff on saxophone.

Tickets for The New Mastersounds’ April dates are on sale now. Local pre-sales for the rest of the TTFN Tour will begin Thursday, April 17th at 10 a.m. local venue time, followed by the general on-sale on Friday, April 18th at 10 a.m. local.
