CHESTERFIELD/HENRICO, Va. (WWBT) -Chesterfield and Henrico police departments ask for help identifying a suspect who robbed multiple businesses in the counties.

Between Jan.16 and March 8, both law enforcement agencies received several calls about robberies.

In Henrico County, these crimes were connected to businesses in the county’s west end.

On Tuesday, Feb. 18, police said, the suspect entered the Beauty Zone at 11019 Hull Street Road in Chesterfield, approached the counter, and began to steal cash while threatening an employee with a handgun.

After receiving the money, he fled on foot. No one was injured during this incident.

At the time of the incident, police released a surveillance photo of the suspect, who was wearing a mask at the time of the robbery. Through investigation, police have recovered photos from a nearby business that show the suspect without a mask.

The person of interest is described as a Black or Hispanic male, 5’5”, who typically enters the business wearing a mask and gloves while armed with a silver handgun.

Chesterfield Police, Henrico County Police and the FBI’s Central Virginia Violent Crimes Task Force are working together to investigate these cases.
