Local law enforcement officers seized nearly 30 pounds each of heroin and methamphetamine as part of an investigation into a larger drug trafficking operation.

On June 26, the Clark-Vancouver Regional Drug Task Force, with assistance from the Portland Police Bureau’s drug crime division, FBI and Drug Enforcement Administration, searched two homes in Clark County as part of a project to dismantle a larger drug trafficking organization.

Three men — Alexandro Llanos Arreola, 25, Lozano Daniel Montoya, 28, and Miguel Montoya Delgado, 45 — were arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine and heroin with the intent to deliver.

Investigators searched a home in the Minnehaha area and another in the Bagley Downs neighborhood in Vancouver.

During the course of the investigation, officials seized 28 pounds of methamphetamine and 27 pounds of heroin, estimated to be worth about $590,000, along with $100,500 in cash and three vehicles.
