Police are searching for an armed robber in Los Alamos. County officials say a man robbed the Los Alamos National Bank near Rover Boulevard and Meadow Lane Tuesday morning.
Multiple schools in the area were placed on lockdown while police searched the area for the robber. He is described as a white man, about 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a black hoodie with the letters "DC" on the hood, and a black bandana.
He ran from police, and officers are still looking for him.
The FBI is offering a $1,000 for information leading up to his arrest.
